The Sunday Observer, a government owned paper, published an article painting Israel's first Prime Minister David Ben Gurion as a great humanist on 13 February 2011. Ben Gurion's crimes against the Palestinian people, especially the ethnic cleansing of Palestine, are well known. We wrote a rejoinder, but the paper did not publish our response. The author, Uditha Kumarasinghe, unabashedly profess he was on a tour of Israel suggesting his trip was paid for by the 'Jewish' state. Please read on.
The True Picture of David Ben Gurion
Hameed Abdul Karim
I was horrified when I read Uditha Kumarasinghe’s article praising David Ben Gurion in an attempt to revise history in the Sunday Observer of 13 February 2011. Ben Gurion was no saint as Mr. Kumarasinghe would have us believe. It is well know that it was Ben Gurion who masterminded the expulsion of 750,000 Palestinians from their homes and farmlands when the Zionists and the Western world joined hands to wipe Palestine off the map of the world.
It was David Ben Gurion who ordered the slaughter of thousands of Palestinians, both Christians and Muslims, with a plan to ‘empty the holy land of Goyim’. This scheme was called ‘Plan Dalet’ as described by Prof. Illan Pappe in his book ‘The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine’. Illan Pappe was an Israeli Jew who had to flee for his life after he wrote this book. He exposes the grave crimes against humanity that Ben Gurion and the rest of the Zionists had committed.
Ben Gurion was a hard core Jewish Zionist – which in current terminology means he was an out and out racist. For crimes no less serious than this, Slobodan Milosevic and the perpetrators of the Rwanda massacres were charged in The Hague for crimes against humanity.
Like all racists he wanted an exclusive Jewish state based on the principles that were worse than what was found in apartheid South Africa. To achieve this objective he had to expel the Arabs and he had no compunctions about his evil designs. ‘We must use terror’ he thundered to his Jewish gang of terrorist like the Irgun, Haggana and Stern Gang, ‘assassinations, intimidation, land confiscation and the cutting of all social services to rid the Galille of its Arab population’. And your correspondent Uditha Kumarasinghe, who as he says, has just returned from a visit to Israel, undoubtedly a very enjoyable one, tells us there is a photo of Mahatma Gandhi in Ben Gurion’s bedroom in a futile attempt to convince us that he (Gurion) was a wonderful human being. Hinting at even a comparison between the two is an act of irreverence to the great Indian leader.
On another occasion Ben Gurion had exhorted his thugs to expel the Arabs and take their places. Gandhi never said anything like that. Illan Pappe records that Ben Gurion had told the Zionist Jews that the Palestinians would be at our mercy and the Jews could do anything to them including ‘starving them to death’ - a policy which Israel is currently carrying out in Gaza.
Another criminal act that Pappe describes in his book is the destruction of the Christian and Muslim village of Khisas which was reputed for its natural beauty. Jewish gangs attacked the village on 18 December 1947 and randomly started blowing up houses at the dead of night while the occupants were still fast asleep. Ben Gurion included this terrorist attack on innocent civilians in his list of ‘successful operations’. He had stressed that there was no need to distinguish anymore between the ‘innocent’ and the ‘guilty’ and that the time had come for inflicting collateral damage – meaning civilians slaughters. ‘Every attack has to end with occupation, destruction and expulsion’. Ben Gurion was a mass murderer and your Uditha Kumarasighe wants us to believe he was a ‘true great leader’!
In another book titled ‘Ben Gurion Scandals’ N. Giladi an Iraqi Jew describes how Ben Gurion ordered the bombing of Jewish centres in Baghdad and blame the terrorist attacks on the Arabs so as to frighten Iraqi Jews to flee to Israel. The idea behind this terrorism was to get the ‘Arab Jews’ to do the menial jobs the Ashkenazi Jews would not do because of their high status as ‘White Jews’. He also describes in detail the Jews’ connection and collaboration with Nazi Germany and Ben Gurion’s contacts with Eichmann.
There is much more to be said on this Jewish Zionist terrorist but space constraints compel me to end with yet another quotation from this odious man. “If I were an Arab leader, I would never sign an agreement with Israel. It is normal; we have taken their country. It is true God promised it to us, but how could that interest them? Our God is not theirs. There has been Anti - Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?” There it is – straight from the scoundrel’s mouth.
And this is the villain your columnist wants us to believe was a great humanitarian.
Really it surprises me why a prestigious newspaper like the Sunday Observer should want to act as a propaganda unit for Israel, a racist state that is been shunned by almost the whole world except for the US, EU and UK axis and Russia to a certain extent. Gone, it seems, are the days when the Sunday Observer stood up for third world causes! Alas, how sad.
